4G Samsung Galaxy S III to hit U.S. this summer

As expected, Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy S III smartphone today to a crowded house at its “Unpacked” event in London.

Though Sammy was long on promises about how amazing the phone will be, it was short on release dates, pricing, and general availability information. For the United States, it said only that it would deliver the handset “this summer.” Granted, that’s an improvement over the December time frame we heard earlier, but we were hoping for more.
